Inspiration
Painted in Sydney NSW during the ‘stay at home’ period of early 2020. This painting was inspired from the endless walks through the local streets and parks. One raining morning the light was dancing on the leaves that made the sparkle. The contrast of the dark bitumen and the leaves captured my imagination. The breeze changed the image. It was but a moment in time. The painting was done in my studio on a beautifully hand stretched Belgian canvas. I had just started getting these canvases from Studio Gallery in Melbourne.
